We all have different views on which animal is dangerous and which is not. However, what you would think is the most dangerous animal in the world, may not be because there are others that are not widely known to be dangerous. 1. Stonefish
This is a dangerous fish that camouflages itself so that it looks like the rocks on the seabed which could easily be mistaken for a stone. It has spikes on its back that carry toxins that cause swelling, tissue necrosis, paralysis, shock and then death when it stings its victim.
2. Deathstalker Scorpion
Deathstalker scorpion has a pale yellow color, but it is translucent which makes it look very delicate. However, it has a dangerous poison that causes a great deal of pain which could lead to respiratory failure to its victims.
3. Marble Cone Snail
Stays in the ocean and can easily be mistaken for just any snail. However, it has dangerous venom that can kill a lot of people and can also lead to pain, inflammation, tingling, numbness, respiratory failure, and muscle paralysis and vision loss. There is no anti-venom available for it.
4. Box Jellyfish
This is the most dangerous jellyfish and the most venomous. It is translucent hence invisible as it floats in the water. Its tentacles produce nematocysts poison which causes blood pressure when it enters the blood system. This leads to a heart attack, then death.
5.King Cobra
King Cobra was found in the jungles of India and China, it has a reputation of being very poisonous. It has a wide hood and spits poison which is extremely painful once it is in the blood system. Death occurs in a very short time.
6. Pufferfish
It has a beautiful color, but it is dangerous. It will puff out its protruding spines when it is threatened, and it produces venom that could paralyze you the stop breathing which results in death. It is a delicacy in Japan, but if it is improperly cooked, it could cause death.
7. Brazilian wandering spider
It wanders about in densely populated places and can be found hiding in cars or houses. Its venom causes much pain which could kill if not treated immediately.
8. Blue-ringed Octopus
It is the size of a golf ball when placed on the palm, but has a poison which causes nausea, blindness, respiratory failure then death.
9. Mosquito
Mosquito as small as it is, a mosquito is the deadliest as it carries diseases such as malaria, Chikungunya, and dengue fever, which are estimated to kill lots of people each year.
10. Poison Dart Frog
This is a brightly colored small frog that has batrachotoxin in its glands the toxin can cause muscle paralysis which eventually leads to death.
It may be impossible to avoid some of these animals, but it is good to be cautious enough as you take your adventure in the wild or waters. The important thing is to seek treatment immediately you’ve been stung or bitten as some poison have anti venoms.
